Hello all! My brother has a bmw e46 (1999) and the eml comes on after a while and goes into limp mode. Fast-forward to August, 2014, however, and the EML light came back after a third-to-fourth-gear rip, right as I got into fourth, and stalled the car. We diagnose and advise every vehicle on an individual basis, nothing is left to assumption.
